Kanker (Chhattisgarh): A man in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district put his life in danger after offering a cold drink to a wild bear, an act captured on video that has since gone viral on social media.
The clip shows the bear approaching the man and drinking directly from the container he held. While many online viewers called the moment unusual, experts have cautioned that this behaviour is highly unsafe.
Wildlife officials noted that bears are unpredictable and can attack suddenly, leaving humans with little chance to escape. They also stressed that feeding wild animals processed food or drinks can harm their health, as their bodies are not adapted to such substances.
