Maruti Suzuki has finally taken a big leap in the mid-size SUV space with its all-new Victoris, the company’s first true flagship SUV under the Arena brand. Packed with many “firsts” for both Maruti and Arena, the Victoris aims straight at rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.

Maruti Suzuki Firsts
For the first time ever, a Maruti car comes with Level-2 ADAS. This includes advanced safety and convenience features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring.
Another big innovation is the underfloor CNG tank, a segment-first that saves boot space while still delivering an impressive 27.02 km/kg efficiency.
Convenience is boosted with a gesture-controlled powered tailgate — open the boot with just a foot swipe or the key fob.
Inside, the Victoris debuts Maruti’s largest-ever digital screens: a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.01-inch SmartPlay Pro X infotainment screen with built-in apps, Alexa voice control, wireless connectivity, and OTA updates.
For music lovers, Maruti introduces its first Dolby Atmos audio system — an Infinity by Harman 8-speaker setup for immersive surround sound.
Arena Firsts
The Victoris sets new benchmarks for the Arena lineup as well:
- First Arena SUV with strong-hybrid tech, producing 116 bhp and a class-leading 28.65 km/l efficiency.
- First-ever powered & ventilated driver’s seat in an Arena car.
- First Arena SUV with a panoramic sunroof.
- Only Arena model to offer AWD with ALLGRIP Select 4×4 system.
Design & Safety
The SUV sports a bold design with LED projector headlamps, connected LED tail-lamps, aero-cut alloys, and roof rails. The cabin feels premium with dual-tone black-ivory finish, soft-touch materials, piano black inserts, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.
On safety, the Victoris scores a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating with six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, TPMS, all-wheel disc brakes, ADAS, and a 360-degree camera.
Engine Options
- 1.5-litre petrol
- 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol
- 1.5-litre CNG with underfloor tank
With AWD, paddle shifters, and terrain modes, the Victoris also appeals to enthusiasts.
The Flagship Arena SUV
The Victoris now sits above the Brezza, making it the most advanced and premium product in the Arena family. Maruti Suzuki also plans to export it to over 100 countries, marking its global ambitions.
