Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially commenced sales of the all-new Hero Xoom 160 in India. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025, the scooter is priced at ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and directly rivals the Yamaha Aerox 155.

Ashutosh Varma, Chief Business Officer – Hero MotoCorp, said:
“Xoom 160 represents a new era of category-defining ‘Super Scooters’ that combine power, precision, and adventure. Designed for young riders seeking performance and style, it is built for both daily commutes and weekend getaways.”
He added that the launch expands the Xoom brand family (already including 110cc and 125cc models) and strengthens Hero’s presence in the scooter segment.
Engine & Performance
The Xoom 160 comes with a 156cc liquid-cooled engine producing 10.9kW at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm torque at 6,250 rpm. It uses 4-valve technology for better efficiency and performance, along with Hero’s i3s silent start system.
The scooter rides on 14-inch alloy wheels with block-pattern tyres and features a bold, raised stance for better stability. A wide cushioned seat ensures long-ride comfort.
